Just enter the name in the Search box for a brief article. The articles are inconsistent in the extent of information they provide. (Those shown in italics have the most information) . Grolier’s might be a good starting point, but should be supported by other resources.

Wikipedia www.wikipedia.org has excellent articles containing much more information than Grolier’s. Just enter the name of the organism in the Search box.
